It’s been a busy period for Raising Voices in Research (RViR), with lots of activities bringing together communities, VCSE partners, and researchers. Here are some of our highlights:
RViR Mental Health Research Mentoring Project Funded by NIHR ARC Wessex
Our mentoring project is now coming to a close after a highly successful few months. Four VCSE organisations worked closely with researchers to develop or adapt research proposals based on mutual interests and we’re excited to see the outcomes!
RViR Roadshows Funded by Funded by Research Engagement Network
In February and March, the RViR team are hosting two Roadshow Events in Basingstoke and Southampton connecting VCSE organisations with researchers around shared research priorities. The sessions create space to hear about current research and build informal connections to support future collaboration.
Improving Black Health Outcomes (IBHO) Funded by NIHR SC RRDN
Participating VCSE’s have been invited to become part of the Research Collaborative and co-lead workshops with the Southampton Centre for Research Engagement and Impact. These sessions explore perceptions of research and demystify the process. Two workshops have already taken place, with another to be held in Southampton in February.
